Croatia didn’t win the World Cup 2018 but the team certainly won many hearts. Plagued by internal scandals and rumors, the checked underdogs came together as one and got all the way to the gates of the Bastille. This unifying force is the focus of the seventh PROLETARIJAT release from Sev Dah. Three uncompromising bangers oozing of 90’s techno nostalgia, but not because of some stylistic choice. Rather nostalgia as a form of dedication and belief. The tracks are named after three famed stadiums: The Marakana in Belgrade, the Grbavica in Sarajevo, and the Poljud in Split. Three Yugoslavian stadiums, nothing else. As Ivica Osim, the legendary coach of the golden 1990 generation, once said: ”One thing is sure: if the players were in charge instead of the politicians, nothing could ever be like this.
